Joan Newman is a nationally recognized coach on leadership and professional development skills including business development, legal project management, time management, supervision, and delegation, building and maintaining professional relationships, communication and emotional intelligence, and generational issues.  She specializes in coaching law firm partners and associates as well as in-house counsel and other professionals to improve their leadership and other strategic skills. Joan is a Certified Master Coach and is certified in Lean Six Sigma.

All coaching engagements include an upfront skill assessment, customized coaching plan, and regular meetings (either in person or phone-based) throughout the process. Because Joan’s coaching is customized to meet the particular needs, goals, and learning styles of the individual professional, she is extremely effective in honing professional and leadership skills, developing greater self-awareness, and increasing situational savvy. Joan serves as a strategic advisor and confidant during the coaching engagement, providing ongoing support and counsel as the professional addresses challenging projects and situations in real time.
